Open Enrollment window
Open Enrollment generally opens November 1. To have coverage start January 1, you usually need to enroll by around December 15; enrolling later typically starts coverage February 1. Exact dates can shift each year, and Georgia's state marketplace may run through late January — confirm the current schedule.
Enrolling outside Open Enrollment
Missed the window? You can still enroll with a Special Enrollment Period triggered by a qualifying life event — losing job-based coverage, moving, marriage or divorce, a new baby, or certain income changes. You generally have 60 days from the event.
How to enroll (about 5 minutes)
